Becoming A Client

Eligibility

MedMe clients must be authorized by the Marihuana Medical Access Regulation (MMAR) card program. The MMAR card program is a Health Canada program designed to grant legal access and ability to possess dried marihuana for medical purposes.

According to Health Canada, legal access can be granted to those who are suffering from grave and debilitating illnesses. Health Canada separates and defines these ailments accordingly:

Category 1:

1) Severe pain and/or persistent muscle spasms from Multiple Sclerosis, spinal cord injuries, and spinal cord diseases
2) Severe pain , cachexia, anorexia, weight loss, and/or severe nausea from cancer and  HIV/AIDS
3) Severe pain from arthritis
4) Seizures from epilepsy
5) Applicants who suffer from a symptom treated within the context of providing compassionate end of life care

Category 2:

1) Debilitating symptoms of medical conditions with confirmed diagnosis by a specialist where conventional treatments have not effectively relieved the symptoms.

How To Apply

• I ALREADY POSSESS AN MMAR CARD FROM HEALTH CANADA

  To become a client of MedMe Services, 3 pieces of correspondence are required:

  1) A photocopy of your MMAR card, or the temporary "Authorization To Possess" pink form.

  2) A MedMe Purchasing Contract - Download Here

  3) A Health Canada D form (This form will not alter your current MMAR card status, but we do require it for our files). - Download Here - View Instructions

  Simply send these three pieces of information to us by mail and we will contact you as soon as your account has been set up.

• I NEED TO APPLY FOR AN MMAR CARD WITH HEALTH CANADA

  We offer knowledgeable support to guide you through the application process with Health Canada. You will need to download, print, and complete all the necessary forms.

  You may want to start by printing the "MedMe Steps for MMAR forms" to find out which forms apply to you and then proceed to the Health Canada page below.

  Once you've received your MMAR card from Health Canada you're ready to become a MedMe client.
